This means the provider must exit the ePrescribe pop-up, go to the patient “info” area and input the pharmacy, then return to the patient visit and start the prescription process over again. This is very time consuming when you work in a busy medical practice.
  • Furthermore, from the ePrescription window, if you would like to avoid going to the patient info screen to update their pharmacy, providers need to change the pharmacy for each prescription, 1 by 1. You can imagine how this would be incredibly time consuming when refilling 10 medications.
